Some of my earliest memories are on the waters of Tampa Bay. Everything else grew from that.
01 — The Feeling
Some of my earliest memories are on the waters of Tampa Bay.
Long before there was a company called Halo Prime, before I earned my United States Coast Guard Master's Captain's License, I was simply a kid who loved to fish.
I still am.
I don't remember every fish I've ever caught, but I remember the feeling.
The anticipation. The challenge. The excitement. Then, when everything comes together, a feeling that's difficult to describe. It brings a smile every time.
That feeling never really goes away.
It's why fishermen wake before sunrise. Why they prepare their equipment with care. Why they study the weather and always look forward to the next trip.
Every day on the water offers something new.

02 — The Ocean
The ocean has a way of
soothing your soul.
It can also be terrifying.
Conditions can change in minutes, reminding us that no amount of experience makes us bigger than the sea. It demands preparation, respect, and sound judgment.
Yet every trip builds confidence.
Every challenge overcome becomes another lesson.
Every mile offshore adds another page to a lifetime of learning.
Out there, you can feel empowered and humbled at exactly the same time.
I believe that's why so many of us keep returning.
The ocean never gives you the same day twice.

03 — Builder's Hands
Long before my career on the water, I spent years building things with my hands. Welding, fabrication, repairing equipment, and solving problems taught me lessons that still guide me today.
Simple doesn't mean ordinary.
Often, the simplest solution is the strongest one.
Thoughtful design isn't about adding more. It's about understanding what truly matters and eliminating what doesn't.
As the years passed, those lessons followed me offshore.
Thousands of hours as a captain taught me that boats are judged very differently fifty miles offshore than they are at the dock.
When the weather changes, appearances become far less important than confidence.
Confidence in your boat.
Confidence in the people who built it.
Confidence that every decision made during the design process had a purpose.
Over time, I found myself looking at boats differently. Every trip sparked new ideas. A better handhold. A more practical storage compartment. A cleaner deck layout. Better access for maintenance. Safer movement around the boat.
Small details.
But small details become meaningful when they're repeated throughout an entire boat.
04 — Two Sides of the World
A friendship
built on respect.

Several years ago, during a fishing tournament in South Africa, I met Francois, founder of ST Boat Builders.
Although we grew up on opposite sides of the world, it didn't take long to realize we shared many of the same values.
A passion for the ocean.
A respect for craftsmanship.
A determination to overcome challenges.
A belief that learning never stops.
What began as conversations about boats quickly became a close friendship built on mutual respect.
Today, we continue exchanging ideas, challenging one another, and working together to make every boat a little better than the one before it.
Neither of us believes we've built the perfect boat.
We simply believe the next one can always be better.
That friendship became one of the foundations of Halo Prime.
05 — Why Halo Prime Exists
Halo Prime wasn't created because I wanted to sell boats.
It was created because I believe more people deserve access to thoughtfully designed boats that allow them to spend more time enjoying the water and less time maintaining unnecessary complexity.
I'm fortunate to work alongside our manufacturing partners, bringing the perspective of someone who has spent decades on the water. My role is to contribute real-world experience that helps refine layouts, functionality, and the overall ownership experience.
Every suggestion comes back to one simple question:
Does this make life better for the owner?
Does it make the boat safer?
More reliable?
More intuitive?
More enjoyable to use?
If the answer is yes, it's worth pursuing.
Halo Prime is built on relationships with people who share these values — people who care deeply about quality, integrity, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
We're not searching for the biggest names.
We're searching for the right people.
People who believe that a well-designed boat becomes far more than fiberglass and engines.
It becomes the platform where families create memories.
Where lifelong friendships grow.
Where children catch their first fish.
Where confidence is earned.
Where adventures begin.
06 — Still Being Written
I don't believe anyone ever reaches the point where they've learned everything.
Every year brings new technology. New ideas. New friendships. New challenges. New lessons from the sea.
Halo Prime will continue to evolve because I will continue to evolve.
The day I stop learning is the day I stop improving.
